Work Record After New Shoot

On the Saturday I went up to the marina and started to take images. I went when it was just getting dark and it was raining. I started to take images of the lake. I found it easy to find different compositions to take because the lake was very big.  I did multiple images at different angles so when I get back to the computer I can edit them in different ways and see which once work better.

Then I went to the side of the late and found a lock and tried to take some interesting and different images of the lock. Then I went over the lock to find some wild plants that I wanted to take an image of for the close up shoot I did before.

Then I went over to the narrow boats used them to create a similar effect to the ones with the horizon.  I really liked using the narrow boats because there long they’re easy to get them to spread across the shoot.

I think overall the shoot went well and I’m really happy with the final images. I think going when it was getting dark because they look eerie and spooky but I think they work.

This image I created by using one image and repeating it four times. I really like the way that the whole image looks like a small world. Also I really like the symmetry of the images and the way the image looks like a ball.

When editing I changed the levels and the curves and added a hit more blue to the image.

This one is my favorite one out of this shoot because it shows why I went there and I really like the shapes and pattern it creates.

This image I also use one image and copied it four times to create this affect. I really like that there is something in the middle and there’s something where the horizon is. I really like that there is a hint of blue which makes the image look spooky.

When editing I changed the curves and the levels.

Development:
I really want to see if using people will work as well as the landscape and close up images do. I think I will book the studio and take images of people close ups and fair away to see which one works best. I will still use the same technique using four images and creating sort of a kaleidoscope.
