After the shoot I didn’t get as many shoots
as I thought I wanted but I had enough to make totally different images with
the same image. I tilted the camera to get the eyes across the shoot but then I
took some shoots not like them to see if I could arrange them to make something
similar to the kaleidoscopes. I think overall the images I have edited are
really effected but some look more like a kaleidoscopes then overs.
I tried to do other facial features but
they did not turn out very good the eyes work the best.
I first started to copy the image four
times and then I tried to copy the image more then four I think they turned out
the best. I really enjoyed doing this shoot and editing them.
This image I created by cropping the eye
out of someone’s face and changing the colours of the eyes. I copied the image
four times and rearranged them then copied the four images another 9 times to
make the final image. I really like the repetition and the bright colours of
the eyes. I think if I where to do it again I would maybe change the colour of
the skin to a brighter colour to fit better with her eyes.
Out of all the once I have edited on this
shoot this one is my favourite.
This image I like because of the angle at
witch the eye has been taken from and also the shapes the four eyes create. I
copied the image four times and rotated them to make the mirrored effect.
When editing I make the image black and
white to show the shapes and the repetition better so the viewer is focusing on
the eyes and not the colour.
Development:
I think next time I shoot I will go outside
again or use the original images from outside, and do the same thing but use
the idea of repeating them four times then repeating that image more to create
more of a kaleidoscope image.
